Explore the science of magnetism with an amazing substance known as Ferro-fluid. Visualize magnetic field lines and line of force in 3 dimensions. This kit-to be used by students working in groups of 4 or as a teacher demonstration-contain all materials necessary to perform experiments about magnetic lines of force around permanent and electromagnets, magnetic sliding, floating pennies and other objects, by the variable density properties of a Ferro-fluid in a magnetic field. Through these activities student learn where Ferro fluid are used in objects they use everyday. This kit can also be used to show students how to construct artistic 3-D magnetic structure.

Kit includes: MSDS sheets, 2-ml transfer pipette, power ring magnets, sealed display cell, 3-ml syringe, letter “A” magnet, 50-ml bottle, EFH Ferro-fluid, 2 blue button magnets, 5 aluminium dishes and a pair of protective latex gloves.
